Why?

We all have someone special in our lives who has been touched by cancer. What more wonderful way to remember a friend, relative, co-worker or loved one who has battled this disease, than to walk or run in his or her honor? By participating in The Cancer Support Foundation 5K Walk, you can pay tribute to a loved one, living or not, while helping others.

How?

This is how it works. First, register for the Seal Beach 5K online at www.active.com.

Call the Cancer Support Foundation at (562)799-3131 and let us know that you want to walk or run to raise funds. We will send youa packet that  everything that you need,  including sponsor sheets and sample letters to send out to friends, family and co-workers. If you would like to form a team to come out and walk for CSF, we will help you with that, too!

Where do the funds go?

The proceeds of the money raised by this fund raiser are used to provide non-medical support to cancer patients and their families in the form of support groups, educational programs and practical assistance when needed. All services are available free of charge.

The Foundation is proud to note that more than 85 % of money raised goes directly into Patient programs.
